Sulfonated Asphalt
Sulphonated asphalt helps to stabilize shale stratum, suppress the expansion of drill chips, reduces mud caking and also helps to control HT HP FL.
Sulphonated asphalt is water-soluble and slightly soluble in oils. Sulphonated asphalt assists with emulsifying water with oil and can help regulate low cutting rates while at the same time keeping the hole clean. Sulphonated asphalt also has valuable properties for sedimentary rock management.
